About

Wm. A. Harrison, III

Bill Harrison has been drawing and doodling all his life, but he started painting seriously early in 2011. He has attempted every kind of subject he has been able to think of, including human figures, land- and seascapes, houses and other buildings, animals, a self-portrait, and still lifes. He is especially interested in the interplay of light and shadow. His brushwork could perhaps be characterized as loose realism. Most of his paintings are in oil on canvas, but he also uses acrylics. He continues to enjoy making pen-and-ink and pencil drawings.
